Statistical Abstract of the United States

"If you want to know something about America, there are few better places to start than the Statistical Abstract of the United States," Washington Post columnist Robert J. Samuelson wrote in 2011. The Statistical Abstract of the United States was published annually by the Census Bureau from 1878 to 2012 and compiled detailed social, economic, and demographic data of the country. The Census Bureau ceased publishing the data book after the 2012 edition due to budget cuts. For the 2013 edition, ProQuest and Bernan Publishing picked up where the Census Bureau left off and became the new publishers of the Statistical Abstract.  Below you can find links to the full text of all editions of the Statistical Abstract.
