Each librarian is assigned to specific colleges/academic departments to serve as the Library Liaison for that college/department. Library liaisons serve as the library representative to academic departments. They are responsible for:
purchasing and recommending the purchase of library materials (ebooks, databases, etc.) for subject areas within their assigned colleges/departments,
updating and maintaining Research Guides within their assigned colleges/departments,
and communicating any library changes/updates affecting academic programs.
Library liaisons often attend college or academic department meetings in order to stay up-to-date on the changes occurring within the academic areas and to communicate any library news or resources affecting academic areas.
Please submit this form one week in advance of the preferred date and time so that we can best fulfill your request. For questions, contact the Instruction Librarian, Karen Caputo (firstname.lastname@example.org or 614-947-6604)
