Accessibility

This guide is designed to facilitate access to library resources regarding numerous aspects of accessibility.

Franklin Office of Disability Services

Franklin University recognizes the needs of students with disabilities and is committed to providing accessible services, programs and educational opportunities. In addition to accessible facilities and plentiful parking, the University's Office of Disability Services provides disabled individuals with additional assistance and guidance.

If you are a qualified student or prospective student who has a disability as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) or the guidelines for Section 504 of the Federal Rehabilitation Act, you may register with the Office of Disability Services.

See the Office of Disability Services page for guidelines on requesting disability services and more information on disability services. You can contact the Office of Disability Services for information about what accommodations can be made by calling 614-797-4700 or by emailing accommodate@franklin.edu

Note for Syllabus on Accomodations

"....include a statement on your class syllabus, inviting students to talk with you about any disability-related concerns. For example, you could say: 'If you wish to discuss academic accommodations, please contact me as soon as possible.' This will make students with disabilities more comfortable discussing accommodations."
