The Midwestern Criminal Justice Association (MCJA), a regional affiliate of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences, strives to foster better communication and collaboration among criminal justice researchers, academics, and practioners in the Midwest U. S and beyond. Member states include: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
The Ohio Association of Economists and Political Scientists (OAEPS) is devoted to the understanding/ dissemination of knowledge and the facilitation of dialogue regarding economics and political concepts and events, with an emphasis on the interaction between the two social sciences.
The Ohio Psychological Association (OPA) is one of the preeminent state psychological associations. A well-established leader within the field, OPA works hard to ensure the science and professions of psychology remain vital, relevant and at the forefront in Ohio.
The North Central Sociological Association (NCSA),founded in 1925, endeavors to further the development of sociology as a scientific and scholarly discipline through scientific research, utlization of sociological skills & knowledge and effective teaching. Member states include: Eastern Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Western Pennsylania, West Virginia, and Ontario, Canada.
