With this app, visitors can virtually tour Main Campus, contact the institution, and discover engaging facts on the history, mission, and direction of the institution.

Note: iPhone users have reported full functionality, while Android devices seem to work intermittently - the app may not be successful on the newest devices.

Success Stories

Welcome to the Library Website

The library offers a surprising amount of resources over a broad range of subject areas, and we’ve redesigned our site to make it more likely that you’ll be able to find exactly what you’re looking for. We’ve dropped a lot of the librarian jargon in favor of clearer language and removed as many obstacles as possible to help make your research more efficient and productive.

We believe research can be fun – when you know what you’re searching for and you have a  few good places where you can try to find it.

Search from Home
Our new “Google-like” search feature (powered by Summon™) appear right on our main page. You can search for books, articles, and more without leaving home.

Helpful Guides
Our new library research guides help students navigate relevant library research sources based on specific programs and courses. Access the most popular guides right from the library home page. You can also visit a complete directory of available guides.

Explore without Getting Lost
You’ll always know exactly where you are using our intuitive navigation bar. No matter where you are, you can find out what time the library opens and closes each day, start a live chat with a librarian, and check the due date on materials you have borrowed.

    • Find It
If you need information to successfully complete an assignment, you can start here to narrow your search. Let us know if you get stuck or if you’re pleased with how things turned out.

    • Research Help
Resources in this section will help you hone your search skills or get in touch with an expert to develop a more robust search strategy. You’ll also find tools to support your career planning here.

    • Services
In addition to lending items and helping with research, the library provides other services, including the use of student meeting rooms (SMRs) for group work, copying, printing and faxing. This section also helps you locate materials outside our collection and uncover which of our resources can be accessed via a smart phone.

    • About Us
This page contains links to information about the Franklin University Nationwide Library, including our staff directory, mission statement, collection development policy, memberships, consortial affiliations, donation guidelines, location, and hours.

  • Contact Us
If you’re driving around in circles to find what you’re looking for, stop and ask for directions to get you back on track. You can even recommend books and resources that you think would benefit other students.

We hope you get a lot of use out of this site. Let us know if you have suggestions for making it better. We’re here to help you find answers, refine your questions, and enjoy the search!
