How to Search the Library

Ebooks

Franklin University Library provides access to Ebook Central, which contains almost 120,000 books on Business, Computer Science/IT, Humanities, Nursing/Allied Health and more. For help with Ebook Central, see the research guide or video below.

The Electronic Book Center provides access to thousands of scholarly and reference ebooks covering the humanities, sciences and social sciences.

Print Books

Students in Ohio -- If you can't find the book you want in the Franklin University Library, you can try the OhioLINK catalog. You can request to have an item sent to the library for pick up, or you can pick up items at any other OhioLINK library:

WorldCat is a library catalog which allows you to search library holdings world wide.

How to Request a Book

  1. Go to the Library website and use the left navigation menu to go to the Books & eBooks page.
  2. Search for books by title or subject.
  3. Once you find a print book that you'd like to borrow, select the title to go to the record page.
  4. On the record page, select the "REQUEST HOLD" button from the top menu. 
  5. Sign-in using your myFranklin login information, then select the "Confirm" button to complete your request.
