Sometime, you may be looking for an item the Franklin Library does not have in its collection. If you are an Ohio resident, you can search OhioLINK, a consortium of universities and colleges in Ohio that allows you to borrow from their collections. You can request and pick-up materials at the Franklin Library, or choose to pick it up at an institution near you. Limited to print books, CDs & DVDs.
To search OhioLINK, select OhioLINK in the dropdown menu next to the search bar in QuickSearch.
The library subscribes to several databases that provide access to ebooks. Ebooks can be accessed anywhere with your student log-in.
A great way to start your article search is by using QuickSearch on the library's homepage. This will search multiple research resources at once. Enter your search terms (keywords & phrases only) to begin! View the tutorial below to learn more!
You can also search individual databases for articles. Below are databases specific to Marketing and related topics. For more options, visit our Databases page.
Sometimes you may want to browse or search for articles in a journal that is specific to Marketing. Our Journals page is the best place to do that. If you know the name of the journal, you can use that to search immediately, or you can browse Marketing journals by using the Journal by Category section after starting a search in the journal finder. Some suggested journals are below. Watch this short video on how to effectively search for Journals.
You may come across an article that the library does not have access to. If that occurs, you can submit an Interlibrary Loan request. We will attempt to locate a copy through an institution that does have access. Use the link below to find out how to submit your request.
Due to copyright, items obtained via Interlibrary Loan are for personal use only.
To customize your Google Scholar settings, find Franklin University in the settings area by searching in the Library Links area. You can also add OhioLINK to your preferences. You will still need to log in to access e-books and databases when off-campus.
