Being a new employee means a lot coming at you at once. The intention of this research guide is to introduce Learning Commons resources & services and give you reason to visit us often as well as having a reference point to come back to at anytime.
As an employee of Franklin, you get access to a LOT. This guide will walk you through it. Among our services:
Electronic access to 120 databases, 300,000 ebooks, and 60,000 journal, magazine, and newspaper titles, from any computer.
Access to 20,000 physical books, CD's, and DVD's in our library, plus 50,000,000 (yes, *million*) more through our membership in OhioLINK.
Free WiFi, copying, printing, and faxing (sending only).
3 meeting rooms (reservations required) for individuals or groups.
Knowledgeable professional librarians available all hours the library is open.
Research assistance and project support.
During the Learning Commons operating hours, a librarian is available to help you with research and other library-related questions. While we are open every day of the week, our hours can vary due to holidays and the end of a term.
