Library Quick Start Guide

Overview

The Franklin University Library is part of a Learning Commons which includes the Library, Tutoring and Testing.

This guide provides starting information about library support to help you become familiar with services offered by the library. The "Library Help and Resources" page provides links to support is available from the library, such as: video tutorials, research guides, research coaching and library chat.

The "Top Study Tools" page of this guide provides information about other services which may help students, including academic advising, tutoring, structured learning assistance, workshops, and grammarly.

You can also scroll down on this page to see a video about the Learning Commons, as well as information about visiting us both virtually and in person.

Whenever the Learning Commons is open, a librarian is available to help you with your research questions. We are open virtually 7 days a week (except for holidays). Check our website for daily and holiday hours.

You can visit us in person on days the physical library is  open in the first floor of Frasch Hall. You can also get answers to your questions using library chat, email, or phone. Our contact page tells you how to get in touch with us.
